Such a service could be of interest to local exporters, which may be in the process of negotiating an export contract but may be required to extend credit terms to their own client purchasers. As in all trade finance operations, subject to the quality of the export risk (typically a financial institution), the nature of the instrument and the tenor/risk/pricing relationship, we provide post shipment payment to the exporter.

Subject to the quality of the credit risk, CICF arranges short term credit lines for financial institutions themselves, assuming that the said institution is a fully licensed bank within its own jurisdiction.
