CICF is active in: a) Purchase of EUAs and other CO2 certificates; b) Repo business: this applies to: i) CO2 certificates; it is possible for holders not to want to sell certificates but to utilize them as collateral for funding; ii) We arrange REPOs for all major commodities (oil, gas and so on) as well as interest rate hedging products. These services are noted as short term business because closure of (a) CO2 purchases takes place in one week from DD, and (b) Repos can be closed within three weeks. |
